Armor 2

Water bottles, silicone and reblons
Personal artwork

Armors are a reviewing of the old clothing for defense. They come from the ancient times simbology but in order to protect the needs
of nowadays society. I've always felt attracted to the Armors as a clothing for confrontation and its giving usage through history.
In many Native communities, the armor was imbued with spiritual protection as well, which sometimes was believed even more
powerful than its physical aspects. Even that the armors are pieces almost out of use, this project reflects the paradigmatical
social structure, putting population constantly to confrontation states.

Water is a universal symbol for change and is often present at turning points in a story. Ancient Greeks understood the power of
transition hold by water: from liquid, to solid, to vapor - water is the epitomal symbol for metamorphosis and philosophical recycling.
In the Taoist tradition, water is considered an aspect of wisdom, as it takes the form in which it is held and moves in the path of
the least resistance. Adaptation is the higher wisdom we may all aspire to mimic.
